Senior Veeva System Engineer

As a Senior Veeva System Engineer, you will have technical system ownership of GRAIL’s overall Veeva environment, with an emphasis on the Quality Suite Vault, overseeing it in production and leading its extension and further buildout.
You Will:
- Architect, design and lead the implementation of new capability and customization of the existing system and new Veeva applications as driven by the needs of the business.
- Administer the Veeva system in production ensuring proper function within specified service level objectives, account management, stakeholder and end user support and management of escalations to internal partners, Veeva and third parties as needed. Provide technical oversight and escalation to the IT help desk providing first level support.
- Drive UAT, validation and regulatory compliance for system releases.
- Demonstrate strong creativity, problem solving and collaboration skills to resolve challenges during system implementation and in production.
- Technical experience across enterprise system lifecycle: Requirements Analysis, Solution Design, Implementation, Validation and delivery, Support and obsolescence.
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders and system users to understand challenges and pain points so they can be addressed to increase system performance and organizational effectiveness.
Your Background Should Include:
- Typically a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience implementing and administering a Veeva Quality Vault system with several hundred users.
- Veeva Certification(s).
- Strong stakeholder management, engagement, communication and collaboration skills.
- Industry certifications such as ITIL, APICS, PMI PMP, etc. preferred.
- Experience with data warehouses, data lakes, analytics, dashboarding and KPI reporting preferred.
- Preferred life sciences / Biotech sector experience in a regulated environment GxP, FDA, ISO 13485, etc.
