Job Description

You will lead our Hardware Systems Engineering team to develop the world's most accessible point of care ultrasound imaging systems. You will develop new products that integrate our chip technology as we advance “Ultrasound on a Chip” and change the face of healthcare globally. 

As part of our team, your core responsibilities will be: 

  • Lead teams in the development of new hardware products- engineering and execution
  • Work closely with chip technology team to support our core technology development
  • Uncompromising quality and predictable delivery of commercial products
  • Engineering process, budgets, and organizational design, operation, and effectiveness
  • Change management
  • For other Hardware Department duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Baseline skills/experiences/attributes:

  • 15+ years experience leading hardware engineering teams
  • Engineering degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Physics, or other related subject
  • Personal experience in one of the deep engineering technologies that we develop
  • Demonstrated experience building teams and delivering products in high growth
  • Understanding of the balance between technical perfection and world-class execution
  • Excellent communicator, patient mentor
  • Driver of collaborative approach to engineering

Ideally, you also have these skills/experiences/attributes (but it’s ok if you don’t!):

  • Experience leading device software development, DSP, Image processing
  • Medical Device or Acoustic products
  • Experience with developing products that are manufactured outside of the USA
  • Successful startup experience from $500M
