Job Description

The People Team at Wish is looking for a Workday Integration Developer to join our HRIS team. The position includes design, development, testing and deployment of various types of integrations using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB). The Workday Developer will partner closely with stakeholders across the organization to produce scalable and efficient solutions that can grow with the business. The ideal candidate is highly self-sufficient, possesses strong project management skills, and can drive high quality results. 

What you'll be doing:

  • Gather functional and technical design specs to develop, test, deploy and support of all Workday integrations 

  • Manage technical integrations using Workday Studio, Workday RaaS Integrations, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Complex Calculated Fields, Web Services, Workday Custom Reports, Web Services, XSLT, and xPath

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess document requirements, review design, and define functional specifications

  • Manage Workday analysis, system configurations, and deployment to production

  • Monitor and maintain interfaces between Workday and internal/external vendors

  • Participate in Workday semi-yearly release reviews and testing by identifying impact/enhancement opportunities associated with new release features/functionality

  • Keep up with market trends and tool innovations and investigate possible methods of improving and/or increasing automation 

  • Provide production support for incident management and integration monitoring 

  • Manage ticket system, including triaging and investigating issues, and implementing corrections

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent combination of training and work experience 

  • Workday Certifications are a plus

  • 7-10 years Workday HCM experience, including report writing and integrations

  • Experience with highly complex integrations 

  • Knowledgeable of HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Time Tracking, Absence Management, Security Administration and Business Process Configuration

  • Must have technical knowledge to be able to work with other integration teams, including third party vendors and Wish IT team

  • Proficiency in Workday Studio Development, EIB, RaaS, and Web Services 

  • Knowledge of SOAP, REST, XML, XSLT, Java, and BIRT strongly preferred

  • Workday integrations experience, with a deep understanding of integration design, testing concepts and frameworks (e.g., middleware, transformation logic) 

  • Proficient in MS Excel

  • Deep understanding of all phases of HRIS development life cycle, including production support

  • Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication with a focus on documentation, presentation and interpersonal skills

  • Strong customer service focus

  • Highly responsive and detail-oriented

  • Organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

  • Ability to work under pressure with frequent deadlines

  • Creative and resourceful approach to solving problems
