We’re looking for a highly motivated and mission-driven Executive Assistant to support three senior leaders: our Chief People Officer, General Counsel, and President & Co-Founder. This is a high-trust, fast-moving role that blends strategic partnership with day-to-day operational excellence. You’ll play a key role in keeping our leadership aligned, efficient, and focused on scaling Benchling’s impact.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage and prioritize dynamic calendars across time zones for three senior executives.
- Coordinate high-stakes meetings, offsites, legal and people operations events, and board prep sessions.
- Draft, edit, and review internal and external communications, ensuring clarity and tone alignment.
- Handle logistics and planning for leadership offsites, team events, and executive travel.
- Track key action items, projects, and follow-ups, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
- Operate as a trusted partner — balancing discretion, urgency, and judgment at every turn.
- 3–5+ years of experience supporting VP or C-level leaders; strong preference for experience in tech, legal, or people organizations.
- Proven ability to support multiple executives with competing priorities.
- Polished communicator with high emotional intelligence and discretion.
- Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing ambiguity and change.
- Comfortable with productivity and collaboration tools like Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and Navan.
- Passionate about biotech, innovation, and working with purpose-driven teams.
Flexible Hybrid Work: We offer a flexible hybrid work arrangement that prioritizes in-office collaboration. Employees are expected to be on-site 3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday).
SALARY RANGEBenchling takes a market-based approach to pay. The candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, interview performance, and work location. For this role the hourly rate is $50 - $60. In office perks in include a wide variety of snacks and catered lunch.
