Accountant
You’ll join our Accounting team reporting to our Accounting Manager and contribute across a range of operational activities within our team. This role has broad visibility across the organization, as you’ll be assisting our Sales and Account Management teams with the customer order approval process, and partnering other departments on vendor management and accounts payable activities. The impact you’ll make:
- Execution of daily operations and internal controls in the Sales Order approval, customer invoicing, and the overall accounts receivable processes
- Update and act on the repository of nonstandard client requests and custom invoicing
- Respond to customer-related inquiries in Finance’s ZenDesk platform
- Assist with the processing of vendor invoices, expense reports as well as corporate credit card transactions
- Assist with the reporting on key metrics (DSO, DPO, SLA compliance, etc.)
- Execute month-end close activities and journal entries (analyze and reconcile bank statements, for example)
Skills you’ll bring:
- Active pursuit or completion of a degree in business, finance, accounting or a related field
- 1 year of accounting or finance experience, including clerkships
- Solid Excel skills a must (think Pivot Tables, lookups and more!)
- Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with various stakeholders across the business
- Familiarity with NetSuite a major plus
