This role within the Accounts Payable team will be an integral part of the Blend finance team. We are looking for an individual who demonstrates excellence in customer service, strong clerical skills, with an attention to detail and process improvements. 

How you'll contribute:

  • Perform full cycle accounts payable processing: invoice data capture, coding with correct account and cost center information, approving invoices, and posting payments
  • Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies
  • Manage accounts payable inbox, and respond and address vendor inquiries
  • Perform weekly payment cycle
  • Perform month-end close procedures, including cash account reconciliations and preparing analytical review commentary over assigned balance sheet and income statement accounts
  • Audit and approve expense reports according to Blend’s travel & expense policy
  • Maintain and support travel program
  • Corporate credit card administration including audit, approval and month-end reconciliation procedures
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects including supporting the annual external audit and various P2P process improvements
  • Perform year-end 1099 reporting

Who you are:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
  • Minimum of 1 -3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles
  • Experience with Netsuite, Expensify, FloQast, and TripActions are a plus
  • Proficient in Excel/spreadsheets
  • Detail oriented, have a strong ownership mindset, and are a self-starter
