From accounting to tax to treasury to planning and budgeting, our group supports all aspects of the business to make sure SurveyMonkey stays healthy and grows. The Role 

As a member of the Accounts Payable team, you will contribute through preparing various accounts payable, data entry, and reconciling duties. Key responsibilities include setting up new vendors, entering invoices, making vendor payments, reviewing and approving employee expense reports, and reconciling the Accounts Payable sub-ledger accounts. This role will report to the Accounts Payable Manager. You will perform accounts payable functions with great attention to detail. You are organized and motivated with strong communication and computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Full cycle invoice processing in multiple entities including coding & entry, matching to purchase orders, approvals, and payment batch generation
  • Review and approve employee expense reports in accordance with company and country specific policies
  • Perform monthly Corporate Card Reconciliation
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to internal departments and vendors with respect to accounts payable inquiries
  • Maintain the 1099 data for vendors and assist with annual filing requirements
  • Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies
  • Reconcile accounts payable and related balance sheet accounts
  • Assist in month end closing
  • Familiar with SOX compliance
  • Assist with special projects as needed

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of demonstrated Accounts Payable experience including a working knowledge of accounting principles and general ledger posting, excellent customer service skills
  • Proven problem solving, documentation, research and resolution skills
  • Proficient in ERP, Travel & Expense software, Excel, Word, and Outlook 
  • Nexonia, Coupa, NetSuite, American Express @Work and Bank of America CashPro experience is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and with a team in a rapidly changing environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
  • International Accounting experience is plus
  • Understand the requirements and challenges of a company that has recently become public company, such as manual processes, multi-tasking, and implementation of new systems
  • Strong work ethic and great teammate
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines 
  • Ability to work with large cross functional teams
