About Our Role:

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Accounting Operations, the Manager, Order to Cash is responsible for our global Order-to-Cash operations and team. You will be responsible for implementing best practices with a global internal and external customer service mindset and a focus on operational efficiency and internal controls. You will be at the forefront of defining new processes and implementing new systems and tools to support our domestic operations at scale as well as our international expansion efforts. You will work cross-functionally with Sales Operations, Ad Operations, Legal, Business Systems and General Ledger Accounting. You will focus on automating our contract execution, billing and collections processes while also improving our Days Sales Outstanding and establishing third party vendor relationships as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the subject matter expert for our sales contract execution, billing and collections processes.
  • Manage our accounts receivable aging with a focus on reducing DSO; implement credit review and bad debt collection practices.
  • Develop your team and plan for global operations at scale while adhering to immediate term processes and timelines.
  • Work alongside the Sr. Manager, Accounting Operations and Corporate Controller on projects related to challenges we will face as a growing, multi-national company.
  • Build toward a best in class internal control environment.

About You:

You love rolling up your sleeves and diving into all activities associated with order to cash operations and related systems and processes. You are hardworking, detail-oriented and demonstrate both a strong sense of ownership and good business sense. You have a collaborative approach and are able to build effective relationships with colleagues in Sales, Sales Operations, Business Systems, Legal and Accounting. You seek to understand and root cause issues and resolve them timely. You balance your focus on innovation and process improvement with the ability to achieve measurable results. You have strong organizational and communication skills and are able to prioritize, plan, perform and communicate activities and findings both in written and verbal form to individuals, management and auditors. You take initiative and enjoy working in a dynamic environment across all levels of management and across functions and geographies with minimal supervision. You are confident, energetic, demonstrate good judgment and are able to influence outcomes globally. 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in Order to Cash roles at a combination of multinational public companies and start-ups.
  • Minimum 4 years of people management experience.
  • Digital advertising or social media industry experience required.
  • Proven ability to recruit, train, manage and develop staff
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Effective writing, presentation and informal communication skills
  • Excellent project management skills required
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • A strong passion for Nextdoor’s mission
