 It’s an exciting time to join our ambitious and growing Accounting team. We're looking for an  Assistant Controller to oversee one of our rapidly growing Business Units. As an Assistant Controller, you’ll be responsible for building a team of accounting professionals and managing monthly accounting activities partnering closely with business unit leaders to nurture a nascent business line. If you’re an experienced Accounting leader with public company experience and thrive in dynamic environments, this might be the role for you. We’re looking for a leader with an established track record of building high performance teams and an ability to interact and influence at all levels of the organization. This role reports directly to the Chief Accounting Officer.  What You’ll Do

  • Hire and lead a team of accountants 
  • Develop and monitor execution of accounting processes and policies 
  • Lead monthly book close and management reporting of business unit results 
  • Collaborate with other accounting teams and internal audit teams in assessing and implementing financial compliance
  • Partner with Business Unit leaders to identify how strategic business and product changes impact accounting   

What We’re Looking For 

  • 15+ years experience, currently a Director of Accounting, Assistant Controller, or Controller
  • 10+ years combined audit/assurance experience from a Big 4 public accounting firm and from a public company
  • A strong technical accounting background, CPA required
  • Experience in helping drive toward IPO readiness, ERP implementation
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of IT general controls, application controls and how they relate to business processes
  • Strong ability to navigate through challenges, multiple tasks, take ownership, deliver on commitment
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills in English, excellent soft-skills, and ability to motivate and influence all levels of management

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with Background in a digital payment processing business or similar industry is highly desirable. 
  • Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and PCAOB Audit standards/requirements, COSO internal control framework, and other regulatory requirements
  • Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio), with Oracle skills a plus
