Associate Relationship Manager, Banking Partnerships

To do this, we’ve developed complex integrations with card networks, processors, banks, and dozens of third-party services. As an Associate Relationship Manager joining the Risk team, you’ll manage our critical banking partnerships and help collaboratively execute on key strategic initiatives. In this role, you’ll apply your Risk expertise, particularly in Regulatory Compliance and fraud mitigation, to bring innovative concepts to life, solve complex problems, and help scale our most important partnerships.
In this role, you can expect to
- Take ownership of the day-to-day management and execution of our engagement with bank partners. This includes:
- Own and enhance existing processes to deliver complex projects and coordinate stakeholders with external and internal partners
- Build relationships by collaborating with Engineering, Product counterparts, and other major internal stakeholders, plus critical banks partnerships
- Leverage relationships to partner and challenge stakeholders to ensure cross functional projects are sound and delivered timely.
- Partner with and challenge bank partners to support regulatory inquiries and other ad-hoc requests
- Ensure timely execution and manage expectations of all project assets to meet launch dates, and help support analytics and hind-sighting post-launch
- Manage day-to-day tasks of project planning and execution
- Track schedules, update reports and communicate and influence project status with stakeholders
To thrive in this role, you have
- 3+ years of financial services experience with exposure to payments/banking risk and regulatory compliance
- Experience working with external partners, vendors, or clients within the financial services industry
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal; confidence in facilitating cross-functional team meetings to achieve results. High EQ and exceptional professional judgement are critical
- A detail-oriented mindset with exceptional organizational skills
- The ability to triage and prioritize multiple project simultaneously with autonomy
- Strong time management skills; ability to troubleshoot, juggle multiple projects and prioritize
- High energy and flexibility in a constantly-evolving team environment
- Good foundation of regulatory compliance knowledge and a desire to learn more
