About the Role

The Billing Analyst will handle verifying customer invoices, responding to customer questions, apply payments and manage the collections process. This position works directly with the Accounting Manager to assist with daily bookkeeping, recordkeeping, and month-end close activities. You will own the day-to-day Accounts Receivable function.

Who are we 

We are a small but experienced Finance team looking for another high-performer to join us. In this role, you will report to the Accounting Manager and own the day-to-day Accounts Receivable function as part of your core responsibilities in partnership with another Billing Analyst.

Responsibilities 

• Respond to all incoming customer questions around billing
• Notify customers of past due balances and escalate as needed
• Ensure that all customer invoices reconcile to contracts
• Monitor invoice submissions for completed transmission
• Respond to all incoming customer questions around billing
• Help identify and recommend process improvements and assist in implementing new process changes to improve accuracy and quality of service
• Assist in special projects and perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Able to work independently with little supervision and guidance
• Able to balance multiple responsibilities and deadlines
• Desire and ability to learn quickly
• Attention to detail
• Competent verbal and writing skills
• Experience working with Zendesk
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Customer Service experience a big plus
