Job Description:

WideOrbit is looking for a Billing Analyst to be the main point of contact for billing operations. This candidate will work closely within a fun team-oriented environment. The Billing Analyst will also help streamline processes as the Company continues to grow. Other opportunities such as learning revenue recognition and assisting with the integration and development of operational systems are also available. We are looking for someone who is flexible, adaptable to change, and has a mindset and determination to improve process and procedures.

Here is what you’ll be doing:

  • Review customer contracts and prepare invoicing to be posted accurately and timely
  • Become a key point of contact with Sales, Legal, and Implementation teams about customers matters such as invoicing, product delivery, and contract status updates
  • Assist with the management of customer maintenance including managing customer profiles, investigation inquires with customers, and creating and posting invoices
  • Partner with Collections team to further improve our customer aged receivables
  • Interact with external auditors annually and assist with audit deliverables
  • Willing to help and work on ad-hoc projects as necessary
  • Introduction to revenue recognition and the review of revenue contracts for identifying non-standard contractual terms
  • Investigate invoice issues and respond to general billing inquires
  • Participate in system enhancements using UT environment for various projects
  • Make recommendations to increase efficiency of existing processes

Here is what we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years of Billing and AR Operations experience desired
  • Ability to effectively communicate internally and externally with customers
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics F&O, Salesforce.com, MAS500 or equivalent ERP and CRM
  • Experience with contracts, invoicing, and billings
  • Intermediate MS Excel skills are highly desired (vlookups, pivot tables)
  • Solid planning and prioritization skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to remain flexible and change priorities as needed
  • Detailed-­oriented with excellent analytical skills for data mining (with high volume transactions)

This position will be based in the San Francisco, CA office.
