The value of this position
Embroker is looking for a forward-thinking, diligent, and consultative Broker Associate to join our Growth Practice. As a Broker Associate, you will help drive revenue growth for Embroker by supporting Account Executives on the Growth team. We are looking for extremely organized individuals that are eager to learn and also possess a hunting mentality, excited by the prospect of incentive-based earnings potential and joining an insurtech at the forefront of its industry. This is an associate-level position on the Growth Sales team with a professional track into the Account Executive Role. This role will report to the Vice President of the Growth Practice.
What you will own in this role
- Assists with the development of client proposals and sales collateral
- Prepares documents, spreadsheets, and other insurance forms including applications, submissions, supplemental applications/ info requests, endorsement requests, subjectivity documents for prospect and client interactions.
- Assistance with marketing exercises/underwriter negotiations and preparing reports summarizing results
- Prospect and underwriter follow-ups to keep opportunities from stalling in the pipeline
- Providing guidance to prospects on how to navigate Embroker’s platform
- Salesforce administration and data entry
- Creating and leading demand generation campaigns through cold email and cold calls
What experience we think is the right fit
- An active state insurance license is a prerequisite for this role
- 1-3 years of commercial lines insurance experience in the technology sector with competency in Professional Liability lines (Management Liability and E&O/Cyber Liability)
- Highly Organized with the ability to multitask, effectively set and meet deadlines and prioritize.
- Strong desire to work in a fast-paced and dynamic sales environment
- Early adopter mindset
- Working knowledge of, or ability to quickly learn, Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Google Workspace
- Strong verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
