ROLE OVERVIEW

We have a great opportunity for early/mid career consulting / investment banking / Biz Ops professionals looking to get deep operating experience, getting disproportionate amounts of responsibility immediately, at a leading Series B fintech backed by Andreesen Horowitz, Ribbit, Bloomberg Beta, and Greylock. Consider this role as training for future entrepreneurs, founders, and General Managers looking for more ownership and hands-on mentorship (coaching from an experienced management team, with a long track record of building venture-backed companies).

RESPONSIBILITIES
Work on the highest priority projects across the organization, using analysis and project management skills to identify strategic and operational opportunities to drive significant value for the business: new markets, operational efficiencies, and revenue growth. 

  • This year, support the go-to-market efforts for our new product line (HELOC), partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Marketing, Legal, and Product: 
    • Project manage key growth initiatives
    • Perform gap analysis, collect data and gather documentation;
    • Identify and drive strategic and operational improvements that deliver sustainable lift; 
    • Define metrics and manage performance;
    • Identify metrics that align with business drivers, set goals and track progress. 
  • Support Point’s company business strategy and drive outcomes: 
    • Develop deep understanding of growth drivers and efficiency for our business; 
    • Partner with the Investor Operations team to outline and execute on major Capital Markets projects. 
  • Support Partnerships / Indirect Channel teams on strategic and operational initiatives:
    • Identify and prioritize new attractive referral partner verticals to pursue
    • Design and operationalize new workflows for working team
    • Offer tactical support for partner managers (e.g., develop value proposition scripts, build lead/prospect lists)
    • Develop dashboards & track KPIs of initiatives
  • Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis and presentation of data to quantify the value/size of new opportunities, in order to inform and prioritize product roadmaps
  • Build statistical and deterministic real estate and portfolio models as a core component of capital markets diligence materials.
  • Analyze and report out on trends on a weekly, monthly, quarterly cadence. Create dashboards and communicate performance trends towards achieving company-wide goals.
  • Serve as “connective tissue”: work cross-functionally across teams and product solutions to surface key insights and learnings that can help elevate the overall Product Management and Biz Ops organizations.
  • Support new business model development by building out pricing models, market sizings and other core analyses for new products, channels and other revenue streams.
  • Partner with operating teams to identify areas of outsized impact through quantitative analysis, industry benchmarks, and competitive research, taking an objective view. Champion these opportunities

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-2 year of investment banking, management consulting or private equity OR 2-3 years of startup, fintech, business operations or investor relations company experience
  • Excellent written, oral and presentation communication skills. Ability to work well with a wide range of people.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a structured manner within a fast-paced, hyper growth environment
  • Ability to work with cross functional groups throughout all levels within the organization and participate in the problem solving process.
  • Desire to continuously improve and a positive, "can-do" approach.
  • Expert proficiency in Excel and G-suite required
  • Sql/Python/R preferred but not require; must be willing to learn
  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Math, Computer Science, Economics or Finance preferred.

With employees working remote through September 7, 2021, Point will provide employees a $50 monthly cell phone stipend and a $50 monthly internet stipend. In addition, we will reimburse up to $150 to help you purchase supplies for your home office.

Currently with Covid, our offices are our homes, so we've got a variety of neighborhoods! Our office is centrally located off the PA Caltrain stop.
