As a Compliance Lead, you will advise and support the team with the compliance obligations required to build the industry standard platform offering for both banks and for fintech partners. This role reports to the Chief Compliance Officer, and you will be a subject matter expert to the company, bank partners, and brand partners. You will seek out compliance requirements from key stakeholders and formulate them into an actionable plan to create a programmatic solution.
You will:
- Develop and implement compliance requirements applicable to our business
- Build and scale monitoring programs across business functions
- Operationalize regulatory requirements
- Serve as a trusted compliance advisor/partner to both internal and external stakeholders
- Stay up to date on developing trends in the financial services industry
You will have:
- 7+ years of compliance or audit experience at financial institutions or fintechs including a minimum of 2 years of experience at a bank or a consulting firm working for banks
- Experience building third party product offerings that allow non-financial services companies to offer financial products
- Experience designing and operationalizing a compliance program at an early stage fintech
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, project management, and risk management skills
- A Bachelor’s degree
