Corporate Development Manager
This is an opportunity to join the "day one" team building Discord’s Corporate Development function! We are looking for an all-around team player to help set the Corp Dev foundation, develop M&A strategies and execute deals end-to-end. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Development, you’ll be the team’s first hire and have a significant impact on all things M&A partnering closely with senior leaders across the organization. What You’ll Be Doing
- Partner with and influence leaders across product, engineering, operations, and finance
- Develop M&A strategies and actionable recommendations for Discord’s key priorities
- Apply business and financial acumen to assess trends, markets, and M&A targets
- Manage end-to-end M&A execution from thesis formation to integration
- Cultivate relationships and act as a liaison with founders and external networks
- Help shape and build the Corporate Development process and team
You’ll Thrive In This Role If...
- 4+ years of Corporate Development / M&A experience
- Experience with a wide breadth of M&A transactions
- Excellent financial, quantitative and analytical skills
- Creative yet pragmatic problem solver
