Divvy is looking for a Credit Associate to join our growing team! Using established underwriting guidelines, you will evaluate borrower financial and credit information in order to qualify applicants for our program. Our team works closely with many other teams at Divvy to support the journey from applicant to Divvy tenant to homeowner, including sales, customer support, engineering, and operations.

Responsibilties

• Subject matter expert on Divvy policies and procedures as it relates to the income verification, credit report, background check, and overall eligibility of an application for Divvy's program
• Process applications to verify eligibility for Divvy’s program and determine home shopping budgets
• Schedule may include weekend days
• Partner with customer experience specialists to obtain any additional documentation from applicants needed to verify their eligibility for Divvy program
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve user experience and efficiency
• Support analytical projects with both quantitative and qualitative insights

About You

• Relevant BA/BS degree and/or direct underwriting/credit risk analysis experience 
• Organized and detail oriented 
• Flexible! We’re a start up, so processes and procedures can change quickly
• Willingness to get your hands dirty
• Preferred location in the Denver metro area but can make exceptions for remote work for a great candidate
• Comfortable with an atypical workweek schedule
• Some SQL experience a plus
