As Minted’s Director of FP&A, you are responsible for financial planning, forecasting, reporting and analysis at the total company level and for our products and channels. The primary responsibilities of this role will be to craft and implement a financial framework, support our senior leadership team in managing financial results and to drive insights with data. This person will also focus on process improvement and ad hoc analysis to provide insight to partners. In this capacity you will lead a team and report to the CFO.
You will:
- Support total company, category and channel level partners by developing a deep understanding of Minted’s business and competitive landscape
- Lead a team with responsibilities for the annual and long term plan, forecast and monthly reporting. In addition, you will be responsible for ad hoc analysis, BOD prep and investor reporting. In this capacity, you will lead and manage results for the P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statements
- Build a repeatable financial framework to support Minted’s business and growth in partnership with the CFO including measurement of unit/category economics
- Analyze and formulate key financial insights to facilitate timely and impactful business decisions. Ensure risks and opportunities are captured and communicated to partners including potential trade-offs
- Maintain a market based perspective by remaining abreast of industry developments, and peer updates
- Evaluate opportunities for scale and growth and implement ways to drive efficiency and automation
- Mentor and manage the team while also supporting the company’s growth
You are:
- Excited to work in a fast-paced and metrics driven environment to drive financial insight and perspective
- Someone with a proven track record of leading and scaling an FP&A org

- Experienced in retail, e-commerce, consumer packaged goods, or internet/technology
- A positive and solutions oriented leader who is adept at working with large volumes of data
- Comfortable with ambiguity and working in a dynamic environment

You have:
- 8-10+ years experience, currently a Director of FP&A with experience in preferably both US and Global operating environments
- B.A. or B.S. in Business, Accounting or Finance - MBA or CFA preferred
- Experience in helping drive toward IPO readiness (a big plus)
- Systems implementation experience (also a big plus)
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral
