What you'll do:

  • Direct the design and execution of the annual budget and quarterly forecast
  • Play a key role in the long-term strategic planning processes
  • Build reporting and analyze KPIs and operating metrics
  • Assist with Board reporting and help design and implement Executive reporting
  • Identify opportunities to optimize spend and work to reduce costs and inefficiencies
  • Monitor key performance indicators, highlight trends and analyze the root causes of variances to deliver valuable insight and recommendations
  • Simplify, streamline, and automate FP&A processes and make full use of forecasting and financial system capabilities that will allow us to continue to scale rapidly and globally
  • Work with business partners to understand, distill, and communicate ongoing and evolving business trends that will drive management decisions and action
  • Perform frequent ad hoc projects to support senior management and business decisions
  • Work with the accounting team on month-end close to derive accurate and timely reporting that helps identify variances from expectations and trends

What we value:

  • Management experience inspiring, developing, and retaining a high-performing finance team
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel or Google Sheets is required
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels throughout the company
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, coupled with big picture strategic understanding
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of SaaS business models and experience in analyzing SaaS metrics
  • In-depth knowledge of financial statements and GAAP
  • Advanced modeling skills, and background in conducting complex quantitative and qualitative financial analysis, and ability to generate data-driven insights

Our office is midway between Union Square and the Financial District. We're 2 blocks from public transportation and walking distance to historical Chinatown and North Beach. Located on the 5th floor, our space is equipped with high ceilings, abundant natural light, and exposed brick.
