Financial Analyst II at NextRoll
You’ll join our Financial Planning and Analysis team reporting to our Senior Manager, Core FP&A and closely collaborate with stakeholders from both the Finance and People organizations. You will manage the company-wide headcount process and reporting from a financial perspective, driving increased visibility into resource allocation and long term financial strategy. You will act as a trusted business partner for the People organization, providing budgeting and financial operations support. As part of the Core FP&A team, you will have significant interaction with the broader Finance team as part of your consolidation and reporting responsibilities, as well as the opportunity to interact with senior leadership. You have a knack for model-building (ideally using planning software), are intellectually curious, and are able to identify solutions to complex problems.

The impact you’ll make:- Assist with monthly and quarterly board-level reporting packages, consolidation and forecast updates
- Partner with the People organization to assist with quarterly and annual budget planning, and manage the Headcount process
- Maintain Headcount model assumptions and output in Anaplan, providing analysis to FP&A team and Executives
- Work closely with entire FP&A team to provide budget variance reconciliations, and track key operational and financial metrics
- Perform maintenance and administrative duties to ensure data integrity across our numerous systems, including monthly financial data loads and validations
- Perform deep dive ad-hoc analysis as requested by FP&A and Senior Management
- 5+ years combined experience in FP&A, investment banking, strategic planning, corporate finance or management consulting
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides skills
- Experience using planning systems (bonus points for Anaplan)
- Aptitude for financial modeling as well as data analysis & reporting
- Strong understanding of corporate finance concepts and accounting principles
- Approach work with curiosity, an eye for detail, and strong initiative
