Why Divvy?

Over the past decade, millions of Americans have been forced to put their dreams of homeownership on hold. Home prices have outpaced wage growth while mortgage requirements continue to tighten. As a result, renters are missing out on a critical wealth-building opportunity: owning a home.

At Divvy, we're building an on-ramp to homeownership – one that's more affordable, more flexible, and an overall better fit for the modern American family – and it’s working.

We are looking for a Financial Operations Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with the Capital Markets and Customer Operations teams at Divvy to manage debt facility operations for our single family rental portfolio. You will be responsible for overseeing a critical component of our business model and implementing new processes to scale our company. To do this, you will need an understanding of all parts of the business, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively execute at a high level under pressure. The ideal candidate would also be able to identify opportunities for improvement and then work with other parts of Divvy to implement those changes through new product builds, process development and broader policy discussions.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Divvy’s Capital Markets, Operations, Engineering, Accounting, and Sales teams to ensure accurate reporting to existing and new debt and equity partners
  • Manage weekly drawdowns on debt facilities; partner with Operations team to quality control all necessary documents, and act as the point person for our lenders on all matters related to facility operations
  • Manage daily cash flows related to home acquisitions, home sales, and rent payments
  • Maintain a thorough record of debt facility transactions and coordinate with respective teams to ensure data accuracy
  • Identify risks in existing processes and opportunities to streamline or automate processes to help our business scale
  • Conduct analytics around company financial performance and help on ad hoc projects as requested

Experience/Qualifications

  • 2+ years in a financial analyst, business operations, consulting, or product role
  • Experience in loan operations, capital markets, or residential real estate is a plus
  • Literacy with product, engineering, and SQL is a plus
  • You are a strong communicator with exceptional organizational skills
  • You have the initiative and drive to make processes better
  • You are able to quickly learn how different parts of the business interact and improve on those interactions
  • You are a team player that can work with colleagues to tackle complex problems
  • You are a thorough and diligent project manager with the ability to juggle many tasks at once

Perks

  • Competitive salary + equity
  • Full benefits (medical, dental, vision)
  • Remote-friendly work - open to candidates in all locations who are able to work Pacific Time hours
  • Diverse, smart, and fun co-workers excited to revolutionize home ownership!

Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion

We prioritize a commitment to diversity in our team building process. We enthusiastically encourage individuals from a variety of lived experiences to reach out.
