We’re looking for a Financial Analyst to help drive our financial planning and decision support construction vehicle. You will be an essential member of the team helping ensure that we’re using the right information to make decisions that make for a smooth ride. This is a great opportunity to report to our Senior Finance Manager to create meaningful strategic planning decisions and work with senior leaders across the company. - Perform financial responsibilities relating to multiple reporting, planning and forecasting efforts, including annual financial plan and monthly forecast for operating expenses
- Partner with several teams to provide analysis on essential cost areas such as: Headcount, Infrastructure (i.e. AWS, Google Cloud), and Marketing
- Prepare different monthly variance reports and analysis and lead the review process. Analyze and identify key areas of risk and opportunity
- Build partnerships with internal partners and instill financial responsibility through education and partnership with teams and department heads
- Improve process improvement by applying best practices, standardization, and automation to increase with company growth
- Support business leaders with different ad-hoc requests
What you should have
- BA/BS in Finance or Accounting
- 4+ years of experience in financial planning at a high-growth company
- Experience focused on in-depth OPEX financial analysis
- Experience in cloud hosting cost analysis and forecasting
- Working knowledge of financial planning systems (Adaptive Insights)t
- Collaboration and communication skills- people actually want to hear you summarize data like a pro and better yet, they understand it
- The excitement to take on all kinds of tasks and learn new things
Bonus Points
- Experience with Analytics tools and business intelligence / data visualization tools (Chartio or Looker) a plus
- Experience implementing cloud-based planning software
