The Role:

Carrot is seeking an FP&A Manager to work closely with our CFO, Controller and Business Operations team. This is a brand new role reporting to our CFO and will be an early member of the Finance team.

  • Driving regular reporting to senior management and the Board via a unified set of metrics in collaboration with the operating teams within the organization
  • Supporting external reporting (investor, future investor, lender) working alongside the CFO, Controller and Business Ops teams
  • Providing analytical support for key company-wide strategy decisions such as budgeting, hiring plans, expense management and more
  • Leading projects to develop and future-proof the broader finance function; exploring new tools and approaches to automate manual processes while balancing rapid implementation with ability to scale
  • Maintain and improve financial models that track and analyze key metrics and their impact on the company's overall performance

What are we looking for?

  • Analytical undergraduate degree, including but not limited to Finance or Accounting; MBA beneficial
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience as analyst with a strategic focus, ideal candidates will have  worked in a top tier consultancy, investment bank or similar environment followed by experience in an operating company

  • Ability to successfully manage competing priorities with precision
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and bring forth new ways of thinking
  • You're able and excited to conceive of and execute projects independently; while able to learn from and leverage the expertise around you
  • A get things done mindset; you're comfortable rolling up your sleeves and diving into raw data, messy details and existing models to deliver results under time pressure
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical capabilities, and the ability to develop creative solutions for challenging, open-ended problems

Nice to have:

  • A passion or previous experience in the Healthtech sector and for Carrot’s mission
  • Experience working for a Global company across different time-zones
