ROLE OVERVIEW

Point is seeking an experienced senior finance and operations leader to join its growing team. This is a critical and highly visible senior leadership role. You’ll be instrumental in scaling the business and maintaining the financial health of Point as we enter a high growth phase. You will be involved in both the internal operations of Point, in addition to interfacing with external stakeholders, including current and potential investors. You will also lead and build teams of highly motivated and talented individuals across various lines of business. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Make finance a core strength of the company and heavily influence product development
• Work with external investment companies interested in investing in Point’s platform
• Drive data and financially-grounded decision-making and accountability company-wide
• Own the “Fin” side of “Fintech” and be the bridge to the “tech” side
• Continue to improve our operations teams (Investor Ops, Business Ops, Capital Markets, etc) while building a world-class operational finance department
• In addition to owning various business verticals, help with whatever is necessary and will have the biggest impact
• Represent Point’s financial interests to the Board of Directors

• You are a strategic leader, operator, and executive partner
• You have a proven track record of leading and scaling both finance and operations teams in high growth startup companies
• You are a strong collaborator with a high EQ and an ability to influence others
• You embody our core values of transparency, inclusion, and alignment, and are an effective team player with a high degree of professionalism
• You have great judgement and business intuition with the ability to digest complex issues, assess tradeoffs, and make sound decisions within given constraints
• Highly analytical and data-driven. You’re a pro at building complex spreadsheet models and working in SQL
• Strong leadership abilities. You’ve managed a team, have great interpersonal skills and are a strong cross-functional player
• Experience with fintech or proptech companies preferred
• Ability to roll up your sleeves as necessary
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Health Insurance
Point provides platinum-rated plans for medical (Anthem Blue Cross or Kaiser Permanente), dental (Delta Dental) and vision (The Standard). We cover 99% of employee premiums and 75% of dependent premiums.

Transportation

Family Friendly
Point will top off California PFL earnings to full salary for up to eight weeks, as well as two weeks of fully paid leave to be available after exhaustion of CA PFL. An employee can take reasonable vacation time in addition to the California PFL leave.

Work From Home Stipends
With employees working remote through June 2021, Point will provide employees a $50 monthly cell phone stipend and a $50 monthly internet stipend. In addition, we will reimburse up to $150 to help you purchase supplies for your home office.
