We’re looking to hire a Head of Global Payroll to own our end to end payroll function, including strategic design, administration, development and implementation. As one of our early finance team members, you’ll have the opportunity to develop yourself in the role and play a key part in building the foundation of our global growth.

As our Head of Global Payroll, you’ll …
- Own the Global Payroll department for Webflow, while leading and inspiring the team. This includes accurate and efficient payroll processing, compliance and reporting for our 350+ and growing team members.
- Drive our continued international growth, weighing in on growth strategy, timing, tools, communications, etc.
- Assess the current tech stack, drive implementations, and seek continuous improvement with an emphasis on scalability and automation.
- Develop, manage and own key policies and procedures for global payroll, including payroll for domestic employees, international employees, and international contractors, among others.
- Collaborate with the People team to ensure accuracy on payments such as 401(k), commuter benefits, taxable perks, HRA, etc.
- Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for payroll, including recording journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and recording accruals for areas such as PTO, payroll taxes, variable compensation, payroll benefits, and more.
- Cultivate working relationships with third-party providers, and other teams at Webflow to resolve issues, and improve the overall efficiency of our processes.
- Partner with Accounting & Legal to ensure accurate processing of equity transactions.
- Provide top notch customer service to our Webflow employees and contractors.

About you
You’ll thrive as our Head of Global Payroll if you:
- Have scaled a company’s payroll function in international markets
- Are experienced using various payroll systems (Paylocity, Workday, Papaya), including implementations & migrations between payroll systems.
- Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Have strong project management, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Can effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
- Are enthusiastic, proactive, and a self-starter
