Head of Revenue Finance - Server, Data Center & Migrations

Atlassian is hiring a finance leader for our global revenue forecasting team. In this role you will manage a FP&A team responsible for guiding Atlassian on it’s journey to becoming a cloud first company, our #1 strategic priority as a business. You and your team will also be responsible for supporting our server and data center businesses. You will be responsible for providing insights on the top-line impacts of product / pricing / migrations initiatives, as well as industry trends and go-to-market activities. You will play a key role in planning, providing insight into business performance, supporting strategic decision-making and helping predict the future of the business. This is a highly visible role with close partnership with senior business leaders across the company.
In this position, you will report to the Head of Revenue and will lead a high-performing global team. You will lead the preparation of accurate short / long range forecasts and lead the business on its continued high growth path through relevant data / analysis. You will mentor a fantastic team that already works across our Product Groups and the Finance organization to drive strategic thinking about the growth of our business. You will provide thought leadership to our CFO, our Founders and the entire Executive Team.

In this role, you'll get to:
- You will own our migrations forecast, Atlassian’s top strategic priority, as we continue to move our customers to the cloud. You will play a critical role in Atlassian’s transformation into a Cloud-first company
- Own the top-line forecast for our server and data center platforms. From website traffic through revenue recognition; you are the go-to person for the executive team on explaining how these platforms have performed in the past and where they are going in the future.
- Compose the current and long-term revenue narrative for internal and external partners
- Lead a high functioning, distributed team of FP&A talent
On your first day, we'll expect you to have:
Qualitative:
- Possess a strong work ethic and high energy levels

Quantitative:
- Advanced Proficiency in financial modeling and executive-level presentation development
- Solid experience with planning and budgeting processes, financial forecasting, P&L management, interpreting and reporting business performance results
- Hands-on worker with strong financial modeling skills in Excel
- Experience in orchestrating and executing an annual planning cycle
- Prior software sector experience is required, Cloud/SaaS is a strong plus
- A minimum of 10 years in finance

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) empowers leaders at Atlassian by facilitating business planning, providing insight into business performance and supporting strategic decision making. We predict the financial future of the business, define business metrics, develop analyses to understand performance and support strategic decisions that drive growth, profitability and capital allocation. The FP&A team is part of the finance & strategy department within Atlassian's CFO organization. In addition, the finance and strategy team is also responsible for strategic planning, pricing and packaging and business analytics. We've developed a successful and experienced team globally and leverage new and innovative tools & technologies (we are a team collaboration software company after all). You'll be expected to help us challenge status quo and aim for innovation, process improvements and efficiency in everything we do.
