IT Internal Auditor
Quantcast is looking for a highly motivated and curious Internal Auditor to help build a world-class Internal Audit function through the execution of our audit plan. This role will report to the Sr. Risk & Compliance Manager and partner with departments across the company like Finance, HR, Operations, Legal, IT, Engineering as well as our external auditors. You will have the chance to gain a cross-functional view of the company through the execution of audit projects covering governance, risk management and assurance over finance and operations. You will help Quantcast management drive focused improvements to the company's operations, leveraging a risk-based audit methodology.
Responsibilities:
- Build relationships and work with process owners to gain an understanding of their operations and underlying internal control environment
- Be involved in the planning and execution of internal audit projects, covering process, business and/or financial reviews of various functions and areas of Quantcast
- Communicate audit results to process owners in a manner conducive to building consensus and facilitate identification of underlying root causes
- Partner with business partners on ongoing business transformation projects by providing assurance and advisory services on appropriate processes, controls and risk mitigation measures
- Participate in process re-engineering with business partners in a consultative role.
- Perform follow-up on the status of outstanding internal audit observations
- Keep abreast of best practices, both internally and externally, and provide a conduit for introducing those practices to the Company
- Provide direction to other internal audit personnel as needed
- Some travel may be required
Requirements:
- BA/BS and 3-4 years of relevant experience
- Big 4, Public Accounting experience, or other equivalent
- CIA, CISA, CPA, or other relevant certifications
- Proven ability to analyze large amounts of information and identify patterns/trends linked to organizational challenges
- General knowledge and experience with data analytics, system configuration management, agile methodology
- Knowledge of SOX, ISO, ITGC and other compliance frameworks
- Experience supporting organizational change and operational maturation at scale is a plus
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly motivated, enthusiastic and ability to work independently with limited direction and guidance, and interact with management across the organization
- Keen desire to learn and understand new topics and areas; demonstrated ability to quickly grasp fundamental operational drivers
