About the Role

As a Junior Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the Finance team with customer invoicing and collections. This role will be based in Boise, Idaho.

What you'll be doing...

• Serve as the SME for Returnly accounts receivable from beginning to end
• Regularly work with our customers to collect on outstanding invoices and build a rapport with them.
• Deeply understand the data flow between SaaSOptics and Quickbooks, soon to be Netsuite in the future.
• Keep track of customer accounts receivable aging report and status of collection on each invoice weekly.
• Receive payments from customers and post them timely.
• Participate in month-end close and meet required deadlines.

About you...

• 2+ years of experience as an accounts receivable accountant 
• You should be good at problem solving report discrepancies.
• You are confident in speaking with customers and are able to facilitate calls independently.
• Experience with different accounting softwares/financial ERPs.
• Experience working with payment gateway platforms (Stripe, Shopify Payments, Paypal, Adyen, Braintree, etc.).
• Knowledge of MS Excel and Google Sheets.
