About the Role
Freshworks is seeking a Finance Manager to join our Finance team in the Bay Area. This is an opportunity in helping to build a financial foundation for a fast growing pre-IPO unicorn company. This is a highly visible and challenging role responsible for driving the assessment, preparation and presentation of key strategic financial analysis used for company decisions. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Partner with Post-Sales (Customer eXperience Group or CXG) leadership among other organizational leads across the business to drive investment plans, operational efficiency, supporting and influencing the teams with financial metrics and analysis
Drive analysis and reporting, highlighting key insights and recommended actions across Customer Success, Support and Services teams
Assist in developing and executing recurring evaluations, including capacity models highlighting opportunities for ROI improvement
Drive periodic examination of churn trends, understanding drivers and pathways to mitigate and improve
Drive recurring financial reporting cadences on behalf of CXG (accounting close, forecasts), managing to established timelines
Reporting and analyses of key Post-Sales efficiency metrics, including periodic peer and competitive benchmarking
Partner in business case analysis for new Post-Sales offerings
Build presentations for executive level audiences
Qualifications
This role requires a strong understanding of financial disciplines, good business acumen, and the ability to communicate recommendations effectively. A bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on business or accounting is required. An MBA is preferred with at least 6+ years of demonstrated growth progression. Other requirements include the following:
