Divvy’s Finance team builds the financial infrastructure that will allow us to achieve our mission of serving 100,000 families. As the first dedicated FP&A hire on the team, we’re looking for an individual who loves building projects from the ground up -- for example this role will be in charge of articulating and executing on a plan to enhance Divvy’s financial systems and reporting. The ideal candidate sees the world through a strategic lens and is able to translate business initiatives into tangible KPIs. 

The role will involve partnership with business leaders across all departments (Operations, Sales & Marketing, Product & Engineering, Risk), as well as external stakeholders. You will be expected to manage multiple projects - one day you may be working with Sales & Marketing on our top line forecasts, and the next day you could be working with Product & Engineering to align on budgets for the next development project. The ability to prioritize and determine the most important initiatives will be a constantly used skill. 

Strong written and verbal communication will be expected, as you will be communicating insights and strategic recommendations to Divvy leadership and Board. 2022 will be an exceptionally exciting time to be in residential real estate, and we are excited to find the perfect candidate to come on board! This role is remote friendly.

Some examples of what you'll do...

• Create and execute on the roadmap for building out Divvy’s financial reporting with a dedicated FP&A system
• You will be responsible for the design and implementation of a scalable finance platform to measure financial results and key operational metrics that will allow us to deliver core insights across the business
• Maintain and improve predictability of financial results 
• Become the finance partner for specific departments at Divvy
• Ensure that company leadership has the appropriate financial reporting to hit targets, building any necessary analysis that does not exist
• Establish goals, create the ability to track progress to targets and understand key performance drivers. Support the team in investor reporting
• Take the lead on any strategic analyses that the department requires (e.g. changes to existing products, pricing, new markets).
• Own the company model 
• This role will be in charge of maintaining the corporate model, which includes monthly variance reports, bi-annual budgeting and headcount review and long term strategic planning
• Be a critical member of the Strategic Finance team
• This role will be involved in projects that are critical to Divvy’s long term success - capital raise activities, corporate development, new markets and other strategic initiatives.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong relationship building qualities; success in this role hinges upon the ability to build trusting working relationships
• Proficient with Excel and Google Drive; experience building three-statement financial models and analyzing data sets
• You have 6+ years in FP&A, finance, strategy or accounting at a high growth tech company, or investment banking, private equity, venture capital or management consulting experience.

• Nice to have: experience working and / or onboarding financial reporting software
