About the Team:

The Strategic Finance and Business Operations team at AppDirect drives strategic, operational and financial decision-making across our organization. Our team is one of the largest consumers of business and financial data at AppDirect. We leverage this data to generate insights to drive actionable results.

About You:

As a key member of a dynamic team, you will drive major financial and operational business decision making, including strategic planning, growth strategy, M&A, and investor relations. This is a highly visible role within a rapidly growing business and will be exposed to all critical functions of the business, including the executive suite. The ideal candidate will be a data-driven individual with an analytical eye toward problem solving and have extensive experience driving corporate development and sustainable business impact across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, have exceptional project management capabilities, be able to work effectively cross-functionally and have a high-level of attention to detail.

How you’ll make an impact & what you’ll do:

• Guide business strategy on key growth areas for the company 
• Support and guide our M&A deal evaluation and execution 
• Support investor relations and related activities 
• Serve as a business partner to functional leaders across our company 
• Drive data consistency and integrity 
• Assist in evangelizing finance discipline and best practices across the organization 
• Support special projects

What you’ll need:

• 4-8 years of work experience, preferably in investment banking, corporate development, or technology finance & strategy 
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills 
• Sound business judgment: an ability to formulate and test hypotheses about business questions utilizing data 
• Self-starter with a high degree of ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment 
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and track record of driving projects to completion 
• Strong financial modeling experience and analytical capabilities 
• Team orientation and willingness to pitch-in whenever needed 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite 
• Experience with Anaplan, Netsuite, and other financial planning systems
