About the Role 

The Figure Pricing Analyst will work with the business to understand the competitive landscape of our Mortgage and Lending products to ensure our pricing drives optimal funnel conversion while maintaining margins. The role will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets and building pricing models using competitor, market and Figure customer data. Additionally, the role will be responsible for designing and executing tests, interpreting results and advising on price elasticity. Initially this position will focus on Mortgage, but with the possibility of expanding into Personal Loans and Home Equity in the future. 

What You’ll Do 

• Assess diverse data sets and sources to gain insights into pricing strategies and market trends; present findings to key decision makers and define actionable strategies. 
• Analyze competitor pricing, competitor pricing and market trends, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative methods; leverage learnings to increase market share and profitability.
• Track and measure customer engagement to develop strategic pricing strategies for products and offerings.
• Own the definition, development, execution of success metrics for pricing tests. 
• Develop a system of communication, documentation and review of internal and external comparative pricing data
• Advise stakeholders including Lending, Product, Marketing, Credit and Capital Markets on price elasticity 

What We Look for 

• 3-5 years of experience in a pricing or financial analysis role, in a related setting 
• Bachelor’s degree in a mathematics, statistics, economics, finance or other related discipline
• Experience within lending is required, mortgage specific experience is strongly preferred
• Expertise with Tableau 
• Ability to accurately process, consolidate, and present large amounts of data
• Demonstrated success effectively collaborating on pricing strategies with cross-functional stakeholders, including marketing and business leaders 
• Ability to succeed in fast-paced startup environment
