We’re looking for a Director, Corporate Finance to build a financial foundation for a rapidly advancing tech unicorn. This is a unique opportunity to build & manage the entire corp finance function while growing an unstoppable team. Reporting directly to our VP Finance and working directly with our executive team, this is a highly visible role with the ability to directly impact key business decisions and financial outlook. What You’ll Do:

  • Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual FP&A processes, including planning cycles, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and management reporting.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reviews for executive management, providing insights into key drivers, as well as risks and opportunities.
  • Structure, build, and maintain complex financial and decision-making models to develop meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand data structures, align on definitions and data sources and build automation of agreed upon metrics.
  • Prepare commentary and presentation materials for executive-level discussions and for board 
  • Be a strategic and financial advisor to the executive team and business owners across the company 
  • Drive efficiency across core finance processes through automation, simplification, and coordination
  • Support M&A activities, due diligence, fundraising and company financial strategic initiatives
  • Build and lead a world-class finance team; attract, develop, and retain outstanding talent

 

What We Need: 

  • 8-10 years of FP&A experience with a proven track record of owning and driving financial forecasts; ideally at a growth stage SaaS startup or tech company (background in investment banking is a plus!) 
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and run with a high performing team with a strong drive for results
  • Extraordinary interpersonal and communication skills, cultivator of cross functional working relationships with multiple stakeholders
  • Strategic thinker with proven ability to break down and solve complex problems with superior business acumen & data driven techniques 
  • Well versed with SaaS business models and reporting metrics
  • BA/BS in finance, accounting, economics, or a quantitative discipline (MBA is a plus!)

Our headquarter office is located in the College Terrace neighborhood in the city of Palo Alto, California and near all the local eateries on California Ave. We also have offices in Rochester, NY and Boston, MA.
