About the Job

We are looking for an experienced accountant to oversee a number of duties in the area of external financial reporting including technical accounting (stock based compensation, equity, leases and cashflow), managing equity awards for the company for ASX reporting and other compliance related matters.

This role will require a positive attitude and is highly motivated to learn and grow with a proven ability to thrive successfully in a fast paced multi-task oriented environment. Responsibilities

  • Manage the Company’s external financial reporting process including the preparation of the Company’s quarterly, half yearly and annual ASX reporting.
  • Prepare monthly equity reconciliations on all related activities within the reporting period with the company records on plan reserve, equity roll forward and ASX equity filings.
  • Prepare stock based compensation calculations, EPS and equity accounting reconciliations as part of the month end close process
  • Manage the company’s external stock plan administrator and transfer agents to ensure accuracy, timeliness and integrity of all equity transactions in our system of record, including new grants processing, releasing of RSU and processing exercises and terminations 
  • Maintain capitalization table, stock ledger and certificates
  • Prepare and provide data for ASX disclosure reporting including Appendices 2A, 3A, 3B, 3C, 3D, 3E, 3F, 3G.
  • Prepare and provide data for proxy, 10-Q and 10-K and other equity disclosures as required, should the company list on a US exchange.
  • Act as the primary contract to employees on any equity related matters pertaining to their stock options, RSUs and shares
  • Support the annual audit and half yearly review activities with external auditors
  • Prepare disclosure checklists and ensure compliance with all GAAP and disclosure requirements
  • Partner effectively and proactively with human resources, legal, payroll, and accounting/tax to anticipate, implement and/or address equity compensation initiatives/matters as well as various tasks and projects as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum 7+ years experience with prior public accounting/audit experience with Big 4 highly desired. Experience working in a public company is considered a plus.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting. CPA is a plus
  • Strong accounting background with a thorough knowledge of equity cycle. Experience with public company stock administration are preferred
  • Detail oriented, Strong organization and problem solving skills with the ability to track multiple tasks and issues
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact and build relationships across all levels of the Company
  • Self starter with strong critical thinking skills and discipline to deliver complete and accurate results.
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Eligible to work in USA
