The Senior Accountant will join a dynamic, fast-paced and high-growth company as a key, full-time member of the Operations team. This is a role encompasses managing Aurora’s Accounts Receivable / Payable, monthly close, audit readiness, financial reporting and technical accounting. You will collaborate with various functions across the organization to ensure efficient and timely operations of the accounting function. In addition, you will have the opportunity to help develop efficient and scalable processes that will enable the organization to keep pace with our growth.

What you'll do:
- Manage Aurora’s Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
- Prepare month-end journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Reconcile deferred revenue and revenue accounts on a monthly basis to ensure that revenue is posting correctly to the general ledger
- Help prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and notes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of disclosures and supporting documents
- Help coordinate with external auditors, executive management, legal, tax, sales and other cross-functional teams to facilitate the audit process
- Ensure internal consistency and alignment to corporate accounting policies and procedures
- Collaborate with People Operations on payroll and expense management activities
- Prepare complex journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations for Accounts Receivable, Deferred Revenue, and Revenue accounts
- Provide assistance and supporting documentation for internal and external auditors
What we value:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or CPA
- Minimum 5 years of accounting or auditing experience, SaaS experience preferred
- Mastery of Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Experience with Quickbooks and Netsuite or similar ERP
- Strong knowledge of revenue recognition in US GAAP under ASC 606
- Strong knowledge of financial activities, policies and processes, US GAAP compliance
- Extreme attention to detail
- Passion for fast-paced entrepreneurial work environments
