Our Financial Technology and Operations (FTO) organization drives the transformation of our systems and operations working across Finance, Technology and Business leaders. The scope of the group includes, billing operations, collections operations, all our Financial systems, our Quote-to-Cash systems, M&A integration as well as key company partnerships and Go-to-market activities.
The Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst will help guide a team of A/R analysts of varying experience levels responsible for the collection of receivables due from business clientele as well as the initiation of necessary follow-up actions required to obtain payment. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Effectively support, lead and guide team of AR Analysts operationally to meet quarterly/monthly objectives set forth by Finance management with efforts aimed at improving measurements quarter to quarter and year to year (DSO) as well as provide guidance and direction to team members to optimize collections and manage first level escalations on client dispute issues
- Effectively lead and train new hires on RingCentral collections process and policies until new hires are fully operational and assigned accounts
- Meet individual measurements for AR through timely collection of payment by designated due dates as well as timely follow up on delinquent AR
- Analyze and document customer disputes of billing issues within outlined processes utilizing a project management approach to resolution aimed at driving issues to closure and resulting in successful collection of outstanding AR
- Manage strategic global high visibility accounts as assigned by management through normal collections and dispute management process to successful collection of payment and closure of issues
- Initiate and build successful, strong relationships within the team and cross functionally while partnering with other RingCentral departments that either directly or indirectly effect collection activity
- Coordinate and lead weekly AR reviews and other focused reviews as assigned through reporting and conferencing aimed at driving outstanding issues to closure
- Assist in the development and implementation of new processes, procedures, tools and/or platforms designed to meet the needs of our ever-changing business model to aid in improving collection efforts and overall productivity
- Demonstrate proactive leadership by identifying areas for improvement both organizationally and individually by providing solution-oriented recommendations on how to more effectively improve our business model
- Proactively seek to initiate process improvement through projects and education both as an individual as well as with the team by both initiating and leading various projects and focus areas aimed at improving team performance, providing sound metrics, lowering DSO and meeting overall team objectives
- Assist with any audit requests from headquarters or locally by providing requested details and formatting responses to auditors within the prescribe time frames issued by the auditors
- Help to develop processes aimed to improve productivity and quality of the team
- Review SFDC and NetSuite cases for entire team or an assigned set of Analysts to ensure timely follow up, accurate reporting and assignment as well as clear, concise next steps needed to drive disputes to closure
- Create and analyze reports from Salesforce, Tableau and NetSuite
- Manage the Early Termination Fee (ETF) for Accounts Receivable team
- Participate in the new pilot projects & lead proper transition of knowledge to team when new processes are introduced by management
- Education to be completed for leadership growth and development
Qualifications & Skills
- 3+ years of AR in a high volume and fast paced environment
- Excellent analytical skills along with the ability to create and present detailed reports
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, mathematical formulas, and complex functions)
- Strong customer focus with excellent verbal and written communications
- Excellent organizations and time management skills
- Detail-oriented mindset and a high sense of urgency
- Proactive, self-directed approach with ability to multi-task
- Knowledge of Collections, Cash Applications, and Billing procedures
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
- Experienced with ERP systems (NetSuite and Salesforce are a plus)
- SaaS experience is a plus
