WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Finance team is seeking an FP&A Financial Analyst to join our growing team. You will be the finance business partner to key functional leaders across Braze’s R&D Organization, responsible for identifying, analyzing and reporting on metrics that reflect business performance; driving a rigorous budgeting and forecasting process.
- Be a trusted advisor as finance business partner to leaders within R&D and lead their budgeting and forecasting activities
- Manage financial models for budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning related to cost of revenue (COR)
- Ensure operational plans are in line with financial budgets and forecast
- Enhance monthly & quarterly internal reporting, including driving insightful analyses to explain trends and any variance to plans
- Support monthly close process through close partnership with the accounting and operations teams
- Help identify important trends and potential risks & opportunities across the business
- Support ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives
WHO YOU ARE
- 3+ years of experience with a minimum of 3 years in FP&A, preferably within Tech and SaaS is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
- Cloud expense management experience
- Track record of strong collaboration with business partners
- Ability to balance multiple responsibilities with competing deadlines
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas
- Experience with Adaptive Insights and Looker is a plus
