Our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team plays a critical role in providing strategic partnership to leaders and teams here at Glu.
The Senior Financial Analyst will be directly responsible for finance support for here in the U.S. To deliver these responsibilities, the SFA will partner with many cross functional groups including VPs, business partners, and Accounting.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Owning the financial forecast including budgeting, forecasting, monthly close and financial analysis for multiple G&A functions
- Providing insightful analysis to highlight variance drivers and identify opportunities to mitigate risk / improve performance
- Presenting financial results to functional leaders at various organizational levels.
- Partnering with the Accounting group to manage Close deliverables, timelines, process and reporting
- Partnering with the functions and the rest of the FP&A team to execute strategic initiatives and drive business excellence.
- Providing ad-hoc analysis to support functional and company-level decision making.
- Maintaining systems and methods of obtaining and disseminating operational information.
- Administrating internally developed Adaptive models and expand the model portfolio to further improve efficacy in all FP&A activities
- Proactively identifying opportunities for financial process and system improvement.
- Analyzing company performance against core KPIs and identify areas of potential risk and opportunity
- Challenging status quo and provide alternative solutions
You’ll be a great fit if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 5 years of related financial experience
- Strong experience in Adaptive Planning is necessary
- Experience with P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis
- Experience with Balance Sheet and Cashflow forecasting
- Demonstrated proficiency in Accounting and general GAAP knowledge
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required (“power user”) and experience with Microsoft PowerPoint are necessary, knowledge in Tableau and Oracle preferred
- Exceptional judgement and maturity, including an ability to execute independently and work with team members of all levels
Extra bonus points if you have:
- Experience in the Software or Gaming environment
- Have an MBA
