Senior Manager, FP&A (Revenue)
About the role
We’re seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Revenue FP&A function at Chime! You will be joining as an early leader on a growing team. In this role, you will own the revenue forecasts across the business. You have both strong attention to detail and the ability to consider the big picture to drive strategic and investment recommendations. You are highly analytical and a clear, confident communicator. We focus on using our unique view into the numbers to see trends and opportunities that are developing within the company as well as across the industry. You have a bias towards action, exceptional partnership and communication skills, and know-how to balance getting the details right while still moving fast.
This role cannot be performed in the state of Colorado.
In this role, you can expect to
- Partner closely with Analytics and Strategic Finance teams to understand our members, quantify product initiatives, predict macroeconomic dynamics, and influence strategy with advanced data analysis, data-driven insights, financial modeling, and dashboard development
- Serve as the finance liaison to the marketing department to ensure growth drivers are carefully thought out, aligned and incorporated into forecasts; drive ROI/CAC analyses and segmentation of users
- Foster collaborative relationships with product teams, build testing budgets, gain deep insights into drivers and trends, and drive continuous improvement through insightful analysis
- Build out the process, framework, and systems supporting our consolidated business forecast; own, continuously build and leverage our financial model to unlock our capabilities to answer burning questions about the business quickly
- Work with Strategic Finance team to evaluate investment opportunities, sizing relative impact, and driving unit economics metrics
- Advance the company's understanding of key financial drivers of our business and own tracking and optimization of related KPIs
- Plan and evaluate Chime’s financial performance against company goals to hold teams accountable with high degree of predictability
To thrive in this role, you have
- Minimum 8+ years of finance/FP&A, investment banking, business intelligence, or consulting experience. 5+ years experience at a high-growth pre-IPO startup, public company, and/or FinTech experience a strong plus
- 2+ years managing at least one other direct report; prior experience building a team a plus
- Demonstrated leadership of a high functioning FP&A organization and track record of driving strong financial performance
- Experience evolving processes, controls and systems to support a high-growth company
- Expertise in Excel - you can build scalable, efficient, and intuitive models with ease; Experience with Adaptive, Netsuite, Looker, SQL a plus
- Strong analytical, financial modeling and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and effectively communicate with key stakeholders, cross-functional partners and senior leadership
- Eagerness to dig into the details, contribute as a team player that embraces change and thrives in a fast-paced environment
