The Pricing Strategy team at User Testing is looking for a Senior Pricing Analyst to help drive our short- and long-term pricing strategy. 

As we look to continue our significant growth trajectory, you will play a meaningful role in our monetization strategy. You will help craft new pricing models and packages for current offers, develop monetization strategies for new offerings, and implement global processes to ensure successful pricing execution.

The role will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, operations, finance, sales, and marketing, to develop comprehensive pricing recommendations presented to senior-level executives. We’re looking for someone who will fully immerse in our business, draw insights from data analysis and research, and develop compelling business cases. This work will drive executive-level decisions that are core to our long-term success.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly analytical professional to get exposure to senior leaders within the company, get mentorship from the premier product, marketing, and strategy leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Perform research and analysis to assist Product Management, Product Marketing, Sales, and Finance in making strategic pricing and packaging decisions
  • Develop and assemble market and industry information to identify trends and changes that can be coordinated into product planning, business strategy, and pricing activities
  • Jointly develop business cases with Commercialization and GTM teams to evaluate new routes, offers, and packages to market to drive growth
  • Present findings to key decision-makers, with the ability to translate complex analysis into actionable recommendations
  • Collaborate with the Data team to develop actionable dashboards and insightful analysis for self-serve use
  • Develop processes, procedures, and validation methods that ensure accuracy & consistency when retrieving & compiling data from multiple resources
  • Perform price and discount realization analysis; segment by relevant geographic, customer, and deal factors to evaluate performance, approval patterns, and support new deals
  • Recommend potential system enhancements to meet the changing needs of the business
  • Track and measure pricing KPIs, develop reporting to enable decision making on pricing performance
  • Assist in drafting monetization policies and guidelines to enhance top line revenue 

Requirements

  • Ability to lead change in a fast-growing organization and project manage critical company initiatives
  • Capture and synthesize large amounts of data into actionable recommendations and build comprehensive financial models
  • Network and influence with your business partners
  • Present comfortably to internal and external audience

Preferred Skills

  • 4-7 years of Pricing, Sales Ops experience within the Software industry
  • Strong business discernment and Expert level Excel skills
  • Experience supporting one or more lines of business
  • Experience with analytical tools such as SQL, Tableau, Periscope 
  • Capable of leading with cross-functional teams in making sound business decisions
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or other quantitative disciplines
