Carta is hiring a Senior Treasury Operations Analyst to be part of the Treasury Operations team and support payment initiatives and money movement between clients for all business units.

 

In this critical role you’ll work closely with all business units to monitor, review, and reconcile the flow of payments between clients that are running through Carta daily. Work with customer support team and internal staff to help resolve any arising payment issues and inquiries. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Product, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and Business on payment related ad hoc projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities 

  • Initiate, review, and reconcile ACH, wires, and F/X funds transfers for all business units
  • Perform daily reconciliation between bank activities holding customer funds and Carta platform
  • Support internal staff and customer support team on payment exceptions and inquiries
  • Help develop operational procedures and maintain bank accounts and payment system mapping documentations
  • Participate and partner with cross functional teams on financial products and payment related projects and initiatives

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Treasury/Finance operations or cash management experience
  • Strong Excel knowledge and technical aptitude
  • Must love reconciling data
  • Experience on performing data analysis and reporting
  • Great communication skills, organized and detail-oriented, ability to multitask and be a team player
  • Flexible to changes and strive in a fast moving working culture

Nice-to-Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or Management Information System
  • Start-up experience preferably in Fintech or on a Finance team
  • Knowledge of SQL and VBA
  • Experience with reporting tools and analytics
