Job Overview
In this role, you will contribute to a variety of accounting functions, including accounts payable, general ledger maintenance/reconciliations and BS/PL flux analyses. This role will be an integral part of the Global Accounting team and will work closely with the Senior Accounting Manager in our San Francisco office.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Accounts Payable, expense reimbursements and corporate credit card programs
  • Prepare and record journal entries with supporting documentation to ensure a timely month-end close process
  • Prepare reconciliation schedules and analyze variance as part of the month-end close process
  • Record loan portfolio accounting entries including revenue and provisions 
  • Perform flux analysis and provide supporting details
  • Assist with the annual audit, ensuring requests are delivered in a timely manner
  • Be the book expert and assist FP&A with management reporting
  • Partner with engineering, operations and local geographies to minimize cash exception items
  • Complete and manage other strategic initiatives & ad hoc projects as needed

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3-4 years accounting experience in similar positions
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience required
  • Experience with Netsuite, Bill.com/Tipalti and Expensify 
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP and full cycle accounting required
  • Expert using Excel, able to work with large quantity of data to dissect and analyze
  • Ability to work in a fast paced global environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
  • Flexibility to work with team members in different time zones on a daily basis is essential
  • Able to multitask and work independently in fast paced environment
  • SQL experience is a plus
  • Ability to travel internationally
