We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team.
Key deliverables:
- Lead the full-cycle monthly close process including preparation of journal entries, bank reconciliations and monthly account reconciliations.
- Ensure financial records are maintained for Management and GAAP Consolidated financial statements using accepted policies and procedures.
- Oversee accounts payable including vendor payments, employee expense reimbursements, and credit card reconciliations
- Prepare 1099 for vendors at the year-end
- Provide general and ad hoc project, and/or support as needed
Key qualifications include:
- 3-6 years of relevant accounting experience, CPA certification plus but not required
- Experience with ERP software is a must (Quickbooks and/or Netsuite preferred)
- Experience with Expensify and Bill.com a plus
- Strong spreadsheet skills, with the ability to manipulate and digest large amounts of data require
- Detail-oriented, accurate, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
