Staff Accountant
Recurly is seeking a Staff Accountant who will be responsible for the full cycle of Accounts Payable. This will include vendor invoices, employee reimbursement, cash disbursement, credit card and bank reconciliation.
Responsibilities
- Review PO, vendor invoices and employee expense reports
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all disbursements through Expensify (Concur)
- Prepare AP accruals, credit card and bank reconciliation for the month end close process
- Reconcile AP accounts and ensure aging items are managed proactively
- Assist with annual 1099 filings
- Assist with audits
- Work with FP&A to ensure all invoices are coded to the correct General Ledger accounts and cost centers
- Prepare weekly AP proposal and processes vendor payments
- Vendor tracking, collection of W8s and W9s, vendor contracts
- Answer employee and vendor inquiries related to the purchasing process, expense reporting, and/or invoice issues
- Assist with the month end close, entering journal entries, and other projects as needed
- Participate on various projects as assigned
Requirements
- BA/BS in Accounting
- A Minimum of 2 years experiences in full cycle Accounts Payable
- Advanced Excel skills; experience working with NetSuite
- Strong verbal, written, analytical, organization and critical thinking skills
- Team player with the ability to work independently and willingness to take on challenges
- Attention to details

- Concur, Expensify and PO experience preferred
- System implementation experience preferred
