As part of the Accounting team at Fivestars, our mission is to improve the day to day lives of small business owners and consumers using our products across our network. You will play a key role leading our accounting functions and scaling our division. 

Who you are:

You’re an experienced Staff accountant with a focus on Accounts Payables with previous start up experience who has a strong attention to detail and a knack for building great processes. You are passionate about your coworkers and employees and go the extra mile to help.

What you will do:

• Account Payables
• Cash management and cash reporting
• Record transactions into the General Ledger, including banking activity, credit card
• charges, customer invoices, vendor payables, and accruals
• Reconcile bank statements and record related activity on a daily basis
• Setting up vendors
• Perform timely balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure integrity and accuracy
• of the financial statements, such as Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Cash, Prepaids
• Accrued Expenses, etc.
• Manage vendor payments and general maintenance of payables to ensure accurate and
• timely cash disbursements

What we’re looking for:

• Strong Accountant Payables experience
• Experience with Netsuite and Bill.com
• Strong excel skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manages competing priorities, and adheres to tight deadlines
• BA/BS in accounting required
• 6+ years of relevant work experience
• Skilled in Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, etc.)
• GL Accounting Experience
