About Your Role:


Sendoso is seeking a driven, detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our fast-paced growing accounting team. You will be responsible for day-to-day financial transactions including accounts payable for multiple entities, corporate credit card reconciliations, and additional accounting projects as assigned. You will work cross-functionally with other teams to ensure timely processing and payment of vendor invoices, as well as be a key contributor to the month end close process.


This position requires an innovative thinker who is keen to learn new technology and big on continuous improvement. You will have a strong grasp of GAAP, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines. 


This position will be based in the US.

Your Typical Day:

  • Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process in Tipalti
  • Handle vendor-related issues and respond to internal and external inquiries in an effective and timely manner
  • Own the credit card reconciliation process, including but not limited to coding expenses, uploading journal entries in Netsuite, and following up with cardholders for receipts.
  • Own expense reimbursement process, including but not limited to timely processing of expense reports, reconcile reports in Netsuite, and respond to all employee inquiries.
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure they are “audit ready”
  • Assist in the documentation and implementation of internal controls, processes, and policies.
  • Assist with annual financial statement and tax audits by preparing audit schedules and responding to auditor requests
  • Assist in ad hoc projects, as needed

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1-4 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in a SaaS company
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or related field is required
  • Strong working knowledge of GL accounting and month end close process
  • Experience with scaling and automation of processes
  • Experience with Netsuite is required
  • Experience with Tipalti and Expensify (or equivalent) is preferred
