About the Finance Team

We’re looking for a sharp, organized number cruncher to join our small, but mighty finance team. From accounting to tax to treasury to planning and budgeting, our group supports all aspects of the business to make sure SurveyMonkey grows and stays healthy. About the Role 

You are a leader within the organization and will be responsible for all areas of Treasury Operations, including oversight of the Company’s insurance programs. You will assist with the analysis, execution and implementation of corporate finance strategies including capital structure, financing initiatives and other projects tied to improvements in working capital and cash forecasting.

You will be responsible for leading and developing a small but high-performing staff and will be expected to exhibit a high level of initiative, responsiveness, and accuracy. You are knowledgeable of the corporate organization, its business policies and procedures, tax & legal issues, and accounting. You will have frequent and important internal and external contacts. Your work requires a high degree of collaboration, professionalism, and the ability to interact with all levels of management.

 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily cash and investment management activities to ensure that we maintain the proper operating liquidity and meet all debt obligations.
  • Oversee the monthly Balance Sheet FX hedging program, ensuring that all exposures are hedged and volatility in earnings due to currency risk is minimized.
  • Develop and evolve Treasury policies and procedures. Own all Treasury Operations SOX controls (processes and systems).
  • Maintain bank relationships and scale the global bank account structure.
  • Develop and implement enhancements to scale and optimize the company’s treasury system.
  • Ensure that the Treasury Ops system infrastructure is continuously reviewed and maintained at its optimum efficiency to support all worldwide cash, foreign exchange, investment and debt activity and the associated accounting.
  • Own the forecasting for all components of Other Income & Expense in the income statement. 
  • Champion projects that will improve efficiency in other areas with which Treasury interacts (AP, AR, etc.) 
  • Oversee the Company’s insurance programs. 
  • Administer the company’s T&E and P-Card programs in partnership with AP and Procurement.
  • Assist with managing various capital markets activities including the credit facilities currently in place. Ensure that the company adheres to all credit facility deliverables including the preparation of covenant compliance certificates.
  • Assist with the development of strategies relating to all aspects of the company’s capital structure, including the forecasting of cash, identifying the optimal cash balance, debt structures including the optimal mix of fixed and floating rate debt, M&A financing alternatives and consultation on subsidiary capital structure.

 

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Treasury in a global and publicly traded company
  • 5+ years of people management experience
  • Strong accounting acumen with respect to Treasury activities
  • Previous experience with a Treasury System
  • Strong prioritization and project management skills
  • Demonstrated employee and team development with the ability to attract, retain and develop top talent
  • Ability to build partnerships across functions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • A critical thinker who can seek innovative solutions to complex business/technical challenges
  • MBA preferred
