The Finance team at Eaze is looking for an experienced VP of Finance and Business Analytics to support management planning and decision making by identifying, maintaining, evaluating information, and recommending actions. You will combine excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts.

Responsibilities

  • Lead company-wide planning and analysis and provide guidance to key stakeholders across the company
  • Partner with C-level staff and other company leadership to develop and implement financial business plans, strategic initiatives, and operating priorities.
  • Provide financial analysis support for investor relations activities.
  • Partner with operations in managing the company and business unit P&L and Cash Flow to ensure we meet and achieve all of our key metrics and ensure leadership has visibility into risks and opportunities.
  • Participate and advise on future-year planning and strategy activities while providing thought leadership around understanding business drivers and their impact.
  • Manage in partnership with the business all business investments (people, incentives, OPEX) and corresponding ROI.
  • Keep management apprised of financial results/issues and emerging trends.
  • Prepare proactive reporting and analysis of key performance measurement indicators, revenue and expense drivers, and product line profitability.
  • Identify issues and opportunities to improve financial processes, implement recommended solutions; evaluate and implement financial tools/systems.
  • Create analyses, commentary, and presentation materials for Board meetings.
  • Deliver weekly financial updates, monthly performance analyses, and quarterly rolling forecasts. Maintain the three-year financial plan and lead annual and quarterly planning processes.
  • Support other financial and accounting functions as needed.
  • Partner with HR in developing incentive compensation activities, including sales comp plan design and commission calculations.
  • Demonstrate a hands-on approach with a deep understanding of the company’s business, financial details and activity.
  • Develop, retain, and hire a collaborative, effective, execution-oriented, and impactful team of top players that can scale.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of the business
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field; MBA preferred. 10+ years of professional work experience in financial analyst/manager roles.
  • Executive leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with experience in growing and leading a high-performance team of finance professionals and can build relationships across the organization.
  • Forward-thinking with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor. Motivated to address unsolved and challenging business problems.
  • Ability to demonstrate effective leadership in ambiguous and frequently changing situations. Combines entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to build and scale.
  • Advanced financial modeling capabilities in Excel and proficiency in PowerPoint..Management Consulting or Investment Banking experience preferred.
