Position summary: With the Fidelis Care Health Plan Finance team, this position is responsible for the financial data analytic needs of the organization. The position will use a combination of financial analysis tools and techiques as well as data analysis tools and technologies to generate, analyze, report, and interpret financial and other data used across the organization. Lead various financial data analysis projects.

  • Develop financial schedules for analysis and review of Month End, Annual Operating Plan, and Forecast, with a focus on flexibility and data visualization.
  • Collaborate with department leaders and executive leadership to ensure our suite of reporting is fit for purpose, and regularly reviewed to identify process improvements.
  • Support the Senior Manager of FP&A in the effort to improve upon and build out sustainable tools and processes that can be delivered and maintained for our department leaders allowing them to focus on operational excellence.
  • Ensure continuous data and reporting integrity through maintenance and administration of planning tools including proactive implementation of enhancements and a special emphasis on data validation and resolution of discrepancies between data sources.
  • Maintains system protocols and user alignment by writing and updating process and procedure documentation as well as training materials.
  • Support ad-hoc requests from FP&A, department leaders, and executive leadership.
  • Support other team members of the G&A Team.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as required.

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience. 4+ years of statistical or data analysis experience. Experience with financial analysis focused on month end close, government reporting, and financial forecasting. General knowledge of analysis tools, SQL, and Microsoft Applications.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with driving data to insights and sustainable process in a large matrixed organization.

Strong analytical and communication skills that allow for the development of data driven reports.

Experience or background in accounting or financial planning.

Ability to break down complex challenges into actionable solutions and communicate clearly and concisely.

Highly motivated, self-starter, full of initiative, team player.

Ability to transcend peer group barriers / dealing with various levels throughout the organization.

Experience with OneStream and SQL (or similar) reporting tool. 

Advanced Excel and PowerBI skills.

PeopleSoft/ OneStream/ COUPA/ Power BI

Pay Range: $68,700.00 - $123,700.00 per year

Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
