Job Description SummaryIn this role you will be responsible for driving the market share growth of high voltage Gas insulated Switchgear (GIS) in North America region. You will also be responsible for developing business strategy to meet order intake and profitability targets. The ideal candidate will have strong product knowledge of high voltage equipment specifically in the North America market.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop a strong technical expertise on Gas Insulated Switchgear
- Provide technical advice and training to the Sales Team and Customers that will help to promote the benefits of GE Vernova’s technology.
- Be responsible to achieve Order Intake and profitability targets.
- Understand the RFQ / Customer's demand.
- Trigger the tendering process: Go/No Go, target price setting, value proposition parameters, winning strategies.
- Prepare and submit compliant and attractive offers within the constraints of technical feasibility, compliance, market conditions, profitability and risk mitigation.
- Negotiate contracts: lead clarification process, resolve open concerns.
- Develop and execute a plan to grow products, to target markets and identify key accounts.
- Partner with the regional commercial teams to drive market share growth.
- Provide leadership and support to channel partners.
- Maintain commercial databases with up-to-date and accurate information.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering discipline from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 10 years of experience within utility industry with role of similar responsibilities
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time domestically and some international travel as needed mainly for direct customer interaction.
- Availability for an intensive international training (up to six months)
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
